From the description you might think this light would have LED board lighting like the others, but that is not the case. This light is a traditional incandescent lamp that has been changed its design to a 1156 LED lamp. It still works well. I am unhappy that this light is about an inch longer than the original porch light used in my RV and all mounting holes are in different locations from the original. It works if you have 4 extra holes in your RV to install it. If you're starting from scratch I wouldn't worry.
