Perfect. Easy. Works as described. Lots of useful apps. We have a big house. I bought 4 and use them to maintain our vocal cords, nerves and relationships. My fiancee thought it was brilliant because now we can "call" our kids from their upstairs rooms instead of constantly yelling at them, getting upset and then going upstairs to get them from each of their bedrooms (we have 4 in there). Teenage kids all together, disturbing parental voices also TV, X-Box, guitars, cello, two dogs and a parrot). The funny thing is that they respond better to us "ringing the bell" than when we yell at them (perhaps because there's no emotional burden when the doorbell rings yet). We like the quick response on the first call. So it's really a great solution for everyone involved. They don't have to deal with my disappointment (I really prefer that they never see me as a witch with fiery hair). Kids can set and change their ringtones and volume as they please, and we've instructed them to connect the device so that it's visible to them at all times during their activities, so that when their headphones are on and there's no sound, they can see it light blue flashing light from the device. We arranged the knobs in one of our kitchen cabinets from left to right, youngest to oldest (name tags coming soon) so they're easy to reach when dinner's ready, or I need to call them to clean up their mess. We've had "this is great" compliments from other parents who've seen us use them at home. I highly recommend this doorbell as a very affordable solution for regular doorbell use as well as non-traditional uses like my customization. I also bought a pair with 2 knobs, one knob is fastened with the rest of the group in the same closet, the second one is not fastened and I can take it in my bag if I want to work in the basement, in the yard or in the garage and maybe I need extra help or in case I fall or otherwise hurt myself and need help (no one knows when I'll hurt myself next, I'm talented at that. but I know it's not loud enough to get through the layers of walls the door and the noise pollution in the house, not especially when I've got the wind off my feet, I'm such an adventurer with projects at home) so those two - buttons were the most unfamiliar to me, the difference is only a few dollars - why not? I will leave a second bell button for my oldest daughter's room in my car so I can "call" her when I pull up to signal her that I need to unload food from the tank and she needs to drain. and help me
