The battery stopped working after less than 2 months.

Easy to install but stopped working after 2 months. After all the troubleshooting, it comes down to the battery, which is said to be no good. I will write to Avantec asking for a replacement as it claims a 3 year battery life. Update*: I didn't complain and just bought a new battery and that was the problem. Since I replaced the battery, there have been no more problems. I'm still disappointed that I had to do this so early, but not sure if it's the fault of the seller or Avantek.

This is amazing stuff!

I bought this for our gate to keep people and our dogs out. I was concerned about range and rain, but it works remotely, and rain and 100-degree heat didn't stop it from working. Bought it a few months ago. Choosing a ring was fun and exhausting because there are so many to choose from. I never went through all the choices and settled on goats. "Baa baa baa" means a guest at the gate in this house. I'm also considering getting a second one for our goal. Update - March 6, 2019 - It still works…

Wow what a great product. I have prime, got it 2 days later and just installed it. At first I thought I was unlucky when the doorbell in my house stopped working about 6 months ago. I had no idea wireless doorbells existed until a neighbor suggested it. I looked at Lowes hardware and all the styles available were plain white dated designs that looked like the old styles. Ideal. Many useful applications!

Perfect. Easy. Works as described. Lots of useful apps. We have a big house. I bought 4 and use them to maintain our vocal cords, nerves and relationships.
