Description says 100% cotton. It's not like this. If you scroll down to the middle section, there is a mention of polyester. The above description needs to be corrected to be true. So mainly polyester. 100% polyfill. One side of the blanket is cotton and the other side is half cotton, half polyester. Another joke is the claim that "Oeko-Tex is certified free of any chemicals or harmful substances". Obviously I wasn't caught up in the joke because the product has a distinct chemical odor. I don't know if it's a preservative, a pesticide, or something else, but without the chemicals it definitely isn't. And this is from a guy who feels almost nothing. The closest I got to this smell was with Raid's cockroach spray. In addition, the two mini pillows have a sewing error where the product label is located. They just weren't sewn there. Where there is a tag, you can just open it and see everything in it. Strange. I don't care and don't understand why pillows are added. I just want to buy a blanket. But the ceiling is strong enough. I don't think this is a bad product, I'm just disappointed that it's not as good as it's presented. To be honest, the smell is a bit annoying. I'll let it air out while I can so hopefully it won't get cold again in a few days. If this makes me or my pets sick I will come back to edit this post. The rest is OK. Probably better than a thin Chinese blanket.
