Ordered in blue, expect a white background with hints of blue, brown and teal in the patterns. The background is tan/stone. Not even remotely white. We ordered a shower curtain and had the same problem. Warning this is not white as shown in the photos in the listing as well as the packaging photo!

The duvet is very hot and not soft. We woke up several times during the night because we were so hot. Also the picture on Revain is very misleading, the duvet barely goes over the edge of the bed. The image leads you to believe that it is large enough to fit around the edges and at the end of a king-size bed. A king size duvet can fit over a queen size bed, but definitely not over a king size bed. Very disappointed that I spent weeks researching quilts and thought they were good.

The color is best described as a white background (not brilliant white but bright enough to be considered white, NOT biscuit or bone). Turquoise and earthy putty gray. This bed set is great but I wish they had made it with a higher thread count. If you look at the cotton itself you can definitely see the coarseness of the weave - it's not scratchy but it's not the good t-shirt/jersey/brushed cotton that I was hoping for. I love the look of this set - it matches the photos very well. Throw pillows look great on my bed and instantly improve the look of my room. The duvet is lightweight and ideal for all seasons. It's a bit thin though, so it won't be enough in winter. I'm in Colorado and I've been cold on October nights. The pattern and colors look great, but the material isn't particularly soft. Description says 100% cotton. It's not like this. If you scroll down to the middle section, there is a mention of polyester. The above description needs to be corrected to be true. So mainly polyester. 100% polyfill. One side of the blanket is cotton and the other side is half cotton, half polyester. My bed is a king but I ordered a king as I like the bedspread to go over the sides. I was annoyed when I opened the box but winter, not so great light etc maybe that would be ok. I don't know about your monitor but mine says it's a white set with purple. The actual color is almost yellow, not even cream.
