Like other customers, I could not fix the collar. After reading the reviews I figured I could fix the collar after purchase. When I received it it was rolled tightly in the opposite direction you put it on. I wrapped it very tightly in the opposite direction and put rubber bands on it for several days. That straightened it out, so I trimmed off the excess and put it on my dog. After a few days, it began to roll back to its original position. I put it in very hot water to make it pliable and then wrapped it around a small drinking glass and let it cool. I left it there for a while and when I took it off it seemed to help. Again, after a while, it returned to its original position, which makes it uncomfortable to put on. I'm over it I will buy another one with better reviews. This collar is stubbornly wound the wrong way.
