I have used this cheese press and am delighted. it's cheap, it's small, it's easy to clean, it works, and the cheese tastes good (stainless steel, so no reactions). I've made about 10 blocks of cheese since I bought it. The support and service from the seller was also excellent, however care must be taken when using it. If you push too hard, your abs will crack and it's hard to tell that will happen. The abs instructions recommend using two people, one holding the abs and the other rotating the handle. I recommend you don't do this as it's too easy to press too hard. Instead, hold the base of your abdomen between your knees and slowly rotate the handle. I suspect that if you use more than 50 pounds of force with each hand, you'll break the abs. If you're making cheese, you should be aware that milk fat, if it gets on the screw threads, will increase the mechanical advantage. This makes it easier to turn, generates more power and increases the likelihood of the press breaking.
