I bought this unit to replace a broken thermostat on my freezer. It was 1/4 the price of the original thermostat so the freezer was worth the repair, not the replacement. It's easy to set up when you have a guide in front of you. You can either heat or cool the area you want to regulate. One output for the heating, the other for the cooling device. You don't need to make any changes to switch between the two devices, the device does it automatically. What interests me the most is that it has a very wide temperature control range. I can turn this freezer into a fridge just by swapping it out. It also has a high and low temperature alarm to let you know when your heating or cooling device isn't working properly.
