The StarTech SV211HDUA4K description claims to be compatible with Windows 7 PC, but it didn't work with my motherboard based Gigabyte Z97X-UD3H-BK. My monitor upgrade required replacing my KVM and I decided to purchase a different StarTech. A single USB cable to connect the mouse and keyboard didn't offer connectivity despite using multiple ports and some other gimmicks. I returned it and bought a cheaper IOGear GCS62HU that works fine.
