This thing removes EVERYTHING! I don't always use it exactly as directed - sometimes I'll kick up the stain with an old toothbrush after spraying the product, depending on the stain - but it has literally never let me down. Here are a few examples of stains I removed from carpet with this product: - Black gel pen (chewed by a dog) - Burgundy lipstick (same dog) - Marker pen (damn dog again!) - Cat puke - Years old dark blue ink stain - Coffee stain - red wine stain - old stains from the previous owner of the house It's all gone. The blue ink and old stains were left by the previous owners of my house on the basement carpet that was too good to replace. I tried many, many other carpet stain removers before I found Carpet CPR. None of them worked. This tool brought out all the old stains in one application. The blue ink took 3 applications but there was not a trace of blue left on the off-white carpet. Although it's not recommended on the bottle, I also use it on clothing stains when regular stain removers don't work. (Always test spot for colorfastness first.) Here's what I removed from clothing: - Permanent red mark from a couple of shirts and a couple of blue jeans - rub with a toothbrush after spraying. - Green food coloring from blue jeans - Toothbrush again. - hibiscus tea stain - gray leggings red wine - full glass. (The wine literally started disappearing before my eyes as I sprayed it. It was like a crazy commercial. I was blown away.) Finally, this is my go-to solution for removing impossible grass stains from white baseball pants. It requires a little scrubbing but removes all marks while other products barely lighten stains. Now the first thing I do is resort to resuscitation - it saved me from changing a lot of baseball pants. to be able to crow about how good it is. For me it is worth its weight in gold!
