Pros: WLAN very good, 4 out of 5 bars at a distance of approx. 20 meters and 3 walls. Compatible with all formats I've tried. DLNA and media playback) Cons: Limited internet apps, web browser is useless, ads are annoying but okay, but the "Netflix" button on the remote is completely subverted, causing the user to accidentally press it. I have a BDT220 (last year) and bought this for my bedroom Blu-ray player. The biggest plus is that Miracast works great with my AT&T Samsung G4. I'm not sure why all the reviews say otherwise. Maybe it's a newer firmware or I have a newer Android OS on my phone but it's working now. This is exactly what is advertised as a mirror of your phone's screen. Therefore, images can be viewed, rotated and expanded just like on your phone. Home videos can be sent to a TV and played smoothly with full sound. And since it's a screen mirror, everything you see on your phone can be sent to your TV. However, I tried streaming a video from the ESPN Live app and it's pretty badly pixelated on a TV, although it's crystal clear on a phone. My wireless network G may just not have the bandwidth to handle incoming and outgoing streams at the same time. Media rendering still works as it did in the old model. This is where you send pictures and videos to your TV. Displays and plays normally, but there is no scaling or rotation. DLNA works too, but sucks. This is a pull where you can set your phone as the broadcaster and browse for folders from your TV. A cumbersome reason because Panasonic's file explorer is horribly slow to connect and set up, and then the folders don't match your phone. It is not clear how or why it finds the files it finds. I don't know why there is such a small selection of applications. Miracast ESPNGo will not be a problem if they only include ESPNGo in the smart choice. I believe Panasonic only supports apps that Panasonic pays to include it. And my gimmick is that nasty, gimmicky "Netflix" button on the remote that's half-circled above the up arrow on the remote. It's impossible not to accidentally hit it when you're actually trying to get up. Honestly, why is the biggest button on the remote and right in the middle of it is the damn "Netflix". You click on it and have 1 minute to try and download before you can even go back. You can take a razor and cut the button flush.
