Review on πŸ”’ Efficient Prime Line 2014 Mortise Lock: Reliable Spring-Loaded Mechanism by Brian Cooper

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Lasted approximately 2-1/2 years

The lock that came with the sliding glass door has lasted approximately 17 years. Well I bought this lock to have it replaced. It took about 2-1/2 years before it started doing the same. This time I bought two different models here at Revain. One will be inserted and the second will serve as a backup in case the next one fails knowing why they fail. This is an adult home and the lock will not be abused so you would think it will last a lifetime but it doesn't. It is good. These things don't cost much, otherwise I wouldn't get upset about it. For about $10 I just keep a spare and a dowel to make sure the door won't open. I would buy this other one but this time the other two vendors have locks that last about the same money with higher ratings in the reviews. I hope this review helps others, please It seems to all that all se are quite unreliable.
