Revain's Irwin quick-grip clip design is a good concept - the perfect idea for anything that requires parts to be held. Space for gluing and screwing parts. Unfortunately, the Irwin clamp is loosely built and has too much play in the clamp's movement, making it problematic when trying to fit dissimilar parts together - no need to contend with a sloppy clamp and parts of your project. The clamp should be part of the solution, not part of the problem. I see the same clamp being advertised under brand names from a number of manufacturers e.g. B. Jet 52841 and Bessey Angle/Corner Clamp WS3 seem pretty much identical - I don't know if they are all made in the same factory or not, so this review must not refer to other brands.
