Instructions not included - here's how

This is a well made kit with no instructions. So here's what you need to know: 1. The included drill bit is for the pilot hole in the center of the circle. If you want to make a table or other object without a through hole, use the included metal clamp with set screw to limit the depth to the length of the pin (pivot) on the metal rod.2. The included bit is not suitable for your router, it is only for the pilot hole. You will need a straight cutter, preferably a carbide cutter.3. Two short hex head threaded rods are not for cutting circles but for centering holes/grooves in wooden boards.4. If your router does not fit into the existing holes on the bracket, you will need to drill the holes required for your router (drill recommended). A metal pin (used as a makeshift router bit) and a white plastic washer are used to center the router in the jig, then holes are drilled as needed. Screws are included, use a drill slightly smaller than the thread diameter and they will self-tapping with a screwdriver and hold the router on the template.5. After installing the router on the bracket, insert the drill bit and fasten a metal rod with a pin (make sure the pin is firmly inserted) into the groove on the bottom of the bracket (the pin is facing down), like this that the length from the center of the pin to the inside edge (outside cutouts) or outside edge (inside cutouts) as desired. Use the plastic handle to lock the bar in place. Tighten it, if it slips, the circle will be warped. I used pliers but be careful not to break the handle.6. Set the depth of cut for the router to about 1/4 inch or less and make the first cut by rotating the router clockwise around the pivot. remove sawdust. Gradually adjust the bit depth and keep cutting. On the final pass, make sure the product doesn't move when making internal cuts or rings. Otherwise, the bit may crash into your work. That's all! Much luck.
