They work but are disappointed with their cutting ability. I had 6 8-32 screws that I had to cut off in the junction box. Iron metal screws only, not hardened or hard. It took several minutes to cut each one. I waited a few seconds. I did my job, just expected more. I can't think of any other way I could do this job without this or a similar tool. I installed 3 new smart switches in an old 7 pin junction box. Smart switches did not fit in the box with protruding screws. I had to work in a box with neighboring switches that were still hot. They made the "impossible” work doable.
