Tooth broke after first metal

It says to cut metal and I bought it to cut metal hangers not thick rebar or bar. On the right is what the blade looks like after cutting 3 wires (yes, 3 wires, not even 3 shelves, just 3 wires on a shelf). I should have looked at another nail clipper review and stayed away from this product but I took a chance and here is $17 down the drain.

Pretty soft for power tool parts and accessories

I tried cutting a stainless steel screw (1/8 inch thick) with it but it didn't work. screw no problem. I'll try it for some other tasks, but it's not very good for cutting nails and screws. So this blade doesn't look like hardened steel. It has some sort of yellow coating around the edge, probably titanium, possibly, but certainly not good for the nails.

Titanium Blades Are Trash!

I'm a general contractor so I use a multi tool for most of my work. I, too, have been looking for blades that will do the job I need. I bought this Titan thinking it would be a great product. I used all 3 blades in the first hour and of course I'm not at all satisfied. Product. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL. Do your research before you buy blades. Read the fine print to make sure the blades you are buying are the right ones for your job. Gypsum is similar to concrete material so I would…

More durable, great for screws/nails, less accurate when cutting wood

Cuts metal better, less accurate and slower when cutting wood. The blade pictured has had many cuts and shows minimal or no wear. One of the great advantages of a multi-tool is its ability to be remarkably accurate on odd cuts. I received these blades as a result of a truss project review and they last longer but are accurate. with them is much more difficult. I'll keep them in my tool box for more complex cuts or cuts that may hide nails or screws. I do not recommend them for final detailing…

They work but are disappointed with their cutting ability

They work but are disappointed with their cutting ability. I had 6 8-32 screws that I had to cut off in the junction box. Iron metal screws only, not hardened or hard. It took several minutes to cut each one. I waited a few seconds. I did my job, just expected more. I can't think of any other way I could do this job without this or a similar tool. I installed 3 new smart switches in an old 7 pin junction box. Smart switches did not fit in the box with protruding screws. I had to work in a box…

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Slightly torn

I had to cut hardened nails driven into a terrazzo floor over a concrete base. They could not be pulled and had to be cut flush with the floor. At first I tried using bi-metal cutting blades, but they dulled after a few minutes. So I ordered these carbide and titanium blades to get the job done. Thinking carbide was harder than titanium, I tried them first. The carbide blades got the job done quickly. I had to cut and remove 15-20 of these hardened 30 gauge nails. It took two blades to work…

Remove 50+ hard coated screws with a blade

Looked online and sawed various types of blades for vibrating tools. Bimetal had poor reviews for cutting nails and harder metals. The screws I have to cut are hard and have a kind of gray coating. They were too long and protruded through the floor into the room below. Concerned people tried to get up and ended up injuring themselves on the sharp points. The choice fell on the Dremel XR oscillating tool and these blades. One of these blades cuts through over 50 screw heads and over 10 thick…
