I bought this case because I wanted something nice and durable. I needed something that could handle over 100 degree weather. This case did not disappoint. It took me a while to put it on because the elastic made it tight (and this is my first time putting it on). After riding the cap for a few months, I noticed that it was loose. Maybe I stretched the elastic when putting it on? The lid stays open while driving, but I'm afraid that very strong winds could blow it off. I looked at the reviews and found that people with the same spare tire size as me bought a slightly smaller cover and had no problems. Next time I will try to be more careful when putting on and take a smaller size. This is exactly what I was looking for, beautiful, durable and affordable. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
