I appreciate the snap on mirror system. I wish the mirror was at least an inch wider so I can see both rear seats of the car. Anyway, I kept the mirror in the middle and craned my neck in different directions to see each child. The mirror loses 2 stars for the ridiculous first step in the instructions. There is a threaded ball mount on the back of the mirror. The clamp has a threaded post. Step 1 - Screw the threaded post into the threaded hole. FURTHERMORE. 1) Threaded parts can hardly be aligned. My wife and I took a lot of effort just to bring up issues. 2) Then, instead of screwing in, the ball just rotated in the socket. I used a sharp-toothed vise to hold the ball in place to finish screwing the post. I don't know how someone without access to pliers or another tensioning tool could screw the threaded post all the way in. Overall this is the best option for an extra mirror in my truck. It would be ideal if it was a little wider and didn't require assembly.
