God, can these things be made any smaller? This is the third LG BluRay player I own. They work well with LG TVs and connect them automatically when the player is turned on. The player is wireless. Period. This is the only way to connect to the internet. I have a wireless router in my house so I wanted to use the internet features. Connecting to your home network was relatively easy. You have to use the on-screen keyboard, but it works fine. Installing the player was easy, just connect it with an HDMI cable (sold separately) and turn it on and you're done. I think the size limits the device to one HDMI port, there is no other way to connect it to a TV. Now for the reasons it only gets 3 stars. 1) There is a tiny indicator on the front that tells you the device is on and unless it's pointing directly at you it can't be seen. 2) Software. We mostly use the device to stream Netflix content and the software to choose from is very different from what I have on my other two players. I don't know if this software is Netflix or LG, but it's not as good as the old software. Instead of a splash screen with an instant queue, it opens with a list of Most Popular on Netflix, then New on Netflix, etc. The graphics are better, but I would have liked an easier way to to get in the queue. Not comfortable. We mostly use the device to stream Netflix content and the software to choose from is very different from what I have on my other two players.
