Let me start by saying I'm not a professional. This was my first attempt at installing vinyl wrap and it definitely required some trial and error. I initially liked the quality of the product. Vinyl is thick and durable. This reel comes without instructions, so it may be problematic for the lay installer. Installation started normally, but I quickly found that the product is very difficult to install on rounded surfaces. I wanted to put headlights on my jeep that are a simple circle and easy to get to (no obstacles) but there was nothing I could do to get this product to lie perfectly flat. I struggled with blisters and wrinkles no matter how many times I pulled it out to reposition it and no matter how much heat I used. I couldn't get it to fully adhere to the edges either. I'm sure a lot of this was user error, but this type of product seemed pretty basic and not for "professionals" so I assumed it would be easy to install. The finished look is cool from afar, but I don't really think it will last too long. In addition, the vinyl is anything but "transparent" and only turquoise, no matter how the sun beats it. I don't think my headlights are likely to be legal at the moment because they are turquoise all the time even though they glow white when in use. I'm really disappointed in the color as I was hoping for the rainbow of colors promised by the photos.
