Very good value for money. I took it apart to fit a special measuring tool inside. There are cheap parts, this is not Mitutoyo. It has some play in the gears, but the tiny spring always tensions them for 0 net error. What I measure can have an error of 0.0001 inch, which is still very repeatable. Upper and bobbin threads are 4-48 , for fitting custom tips DO NOT hold the body and unscrew the tips, just hold the rod for it. It's the same size as the others with a 1ft reach, which is good for compatibility, but I would shorten the bar to increase stiffness because it shouldn't. t be so long for a row.
