Pros: - The LED strips themselves are excellent and adhere very well. I ordered 2 sets of these lamps and used 3 lamp coils and they all fit perfectly. The color of the LEDs is very good and can be set to a very wide range of colors. Cons: The 32-inch set is actually two separate 16-foot drums. This was not mentioned in the description. However, I ended up just using a transformer and controller and 3 very short spotlights (30ft total) so this really worked in my favor as I didn't have to splice new ends where I cut the strips. - But the controller block that manages colors and receives remote commands is junk. I ordered two of these kits and used the first controller which initially failed and just emitted different shades of blue. Then the remote control sensor stopped working. Ok, I ordered 2 sets but connected all LED strips to one controller so I swapped out the controller and everything worked again. The second controller only lasted a week! - LED strip connectors are very loose. It seems that all bulbs of this type have the same type of plug, so this problem is likely to appear on all their brands. I had to glue the joints together so they wouldn't fall out after a few weeks. The power cord is very loose where it enters the controller box. I also had to glue it. The duct tape everywhere made my setup look like it was literally duct tape stuck together and like I had no idea it wasn't my fault. The remote sensor cable is only about 4 inches long, which severely limits placement. I am using these in a home theater display and had to get creative to incorporate and hide the box but the sensor can still be seen from the remote. It requires a plug so that an extension cord can be used. I have ordered a separate replacement controller of the same type for $12 but if that fails I will be purchasing a Mi.Light controller (more money but you get what you pay for I think and need to change my setup rewire a bit). . If I had to do it again I would buy the lamps separately and the Mi.Light controller which also has an app to control it from the phone. UPDATE: Replacing controllers also failed. I've gone through about 5 of these now. I replaced them all with Mi.Boxer and they have been working great for almost a year now and can be controlled with a color picker app. (That means it uses the same power supplies that came with that original kit, so every time the controller fails.)
