I didn't look at this collar (Red - Size: L - 1.25" W x 16" W - 20" neck) soon enough. I bought this item specifically because of the metal buckles, D-ring and grommets. I have a dog with a very thin head and neck and wanted a wider collar. Because she sometimes jumps a lot and twitches the outer leash a lot. I don't trust plastic. The quality of the materials is ok. The processing is bad. It doesn't look like the grommets were melted into the nylon before the grommets were inserted into the collar. There was already wear around the grommets (after looking at it in bright light and BEFORE I noticed it dog) and I don't think they will stay in place in the buckle for a reasonable amount of time, leading to premature wear on an edge of the collar where it rubs against the buckle. The length of the seams varied greatly - from 6 stitches per inch to THREE stitches per inch - at the end of the collar. I cannot recommend this collar.
