Review on WAYNE CDU790 Submersible Sump Pump - 1/3 HP, Cast Iron & Steel Construction, Integrated Vertical Float Switch, Black by Ben Robinson

I've had 4 pump failures in 5 years. is that none of my previous pumps had this build quality. It weighs 2-3 times more than the pump I replaced. The float of this pump is very simple but ingenious at the same time. My previous pump failed due to failure to the float blowing from sticking. I don't understand what's going on with this construct. I have an 11" hole so I'm limited but this works great. It took me less than 5 minutes to install. I also bought a Wayne check valve/piece that screws into the base. Excellent choice. One of the best value for money from all the research I've done. I used a hard pump to manually pump out the water until it arrived. But today I had to install it because of heavy rain. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
