It's beautiful and it works.

Highly recommended. Mine hangs on the back of my BioCube 16 which grows heto at night. It's been installed for a year and I haven't had any problems. Warms but doesn't overheat. I have a female connector on one end and a male connector on the other that mates with the connector on the BioCube hood. I don't use it with a range hood because I use a timer to keep it running backwards. It's actually a bit bright for my setup, less than an inch from the algae, so I reduced the photoperiod. This would be ideal for a 10 gallon tank with little venting space. Cheto grows out of the caulerpa in the main tank so I have to harvest regularly. I've never had nitrates and phosphates - and I don't shy away from feeding them.
