This unit comes well packaged with a clear protective film over the lens. Right now I'm giving five stars for the following reasons: Easy to install (requires only a tool from a local Dollar Tres screwdriver with interchangeable ratchet bits) Installation (fits snugly and snugly) Packaging (not just wrapped in foam sleeves, but the foam fits one real block) Price (The price was not terrible) Price (increased visibility on the road) On a picture you can see a comparison of an old 14 year old lens with a new one. I don't know how long it will take for the new lens to oxidize, but for now it gives the car a nice aesthetic look.
