Review on ๐Ÿช Easy Flyer Butterfly Kite - Large Size (47" X 91.5") with 300 Ft 30lb Test String and Winder by Zach Flores

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Description: Easy Flyer

Bought this for my 2 1/2 year old and 1 1/2 year old to play at the park. In light winds I can launch it with my hand - no need to play lots of lines, run or anything - just hold it over my head and release. I got it to the limit of the included rope - I think it's about 300ft but it's most fun flying lower where the kids can see it better. At very low altitudes it can fall off quickly if the wind changes, but you can pull the rope or run to keep it going. If I lift it to about 80 feet or higher where it's more stable, my 2.5 year old can hold it. If I stretch it out about 10 feet, I can run around the park and it will fly right over me, babies buzzing with its tail. It cannot withstand strong winds and gusts of wind, but it is not designed for that either. It's so simple that it can get boring for someone who knows how to handle multi-string stunt kites, but this is the kite for every Charlie Brown. There are other kites that fly easily, but these Easy Flyers also offer less line tension, making the line less likely to snap or snap out of a child's hand. For children under the age of 5, however, I cover most flights. So I'm going to try some helium balloons on a kite string instead. I'm also dying to try the KongMing Lantern. Our area is popular for hot air balloon rides and maybe when the kids are older we can build a radio controlled hot air balloon. A kite like this can do a lot. Enjoy.
