Price aside, this is a 3 or 4 star stereo. However, if you balance that with a low price, I have to give it a 5. It's true that the speakers sound tinny and you can't adjust the bass. But it's also true that this stereo plays all types of media released in the last 100+ years, with the exception of 8-track cassettes, and costs just over $100. I can forgive the lack of 8 tracks ;) I've tried albums, cassettes, CDs, FM radio and bluetooth. Everything worked perfectly, including the remote control. Please note that Bluetooth (at least on the iPhone) is much softer than other media. If you're on a budget and want to play older media, this is the stereo for you. Extremely easy to set up and there are a couple of extra jacks that I haven't tried that might work for spare speakers or connecting to a TV.
