Review on 🔒 Pyle PLMRCB3 Black Marine Stereo Cover: Durable Water Resistant Protector with Flip-Up Door & Neoprene Gasket for Dual Shaft & DIN Style Stereos by David Plunkett

I bought this case and Pyle "Automobile" radio for the tractor cab. Basically I needed a case with a bracket so I could surface mount the radio. The rectangular radio box did not slip into the body. I used a rasp to increase the size of the hole by sanding down the plastic edges. Interestingly, the color codes between the body wires and the radio wires didn't even match the dual speaker system I plan to use. The biggest problem, however, is that the case lid has a flat seal and the case box has a raised seal. Even after trimming the flat gasket to avoid a raised gasket, the lid did not close or latch in the positive direction. While my rig doesn't get wet, I figured this case with lid would keep dust and debris out. Haven't tried the radio yet, but it was only slightly more expensive than this case. Obviously, Pyle wasn't trying to use their two products together.
