Had the same problem Thomas reported only multiplied by 3. The round lock nut at the end of the shaft has loosened/stripped the thread causing the pinion to slip off the splines. This happened with 3 different appetizers! The only good thing was that DB sent me new ones which arrived the next day (they have a warehouse in the state where I live). Like Thomas, I swapped the drive on the third so I can continue to use my tractor. They seem to have a bad batch and I don't recommend anyone to buy them.
