Review on Sigma 1 4 1 4 Fixed Prime Black by Ojasvi Uppal ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I like the product very much, fully consistent with my expectations.

Since I use it on a mirrorless camera, the issue with front / back focus cannot be in principle. Therefore, this topic has not been studied. If you are ready to withstand the weight and dimensions - then definitely take it. In terms of detail, it surpasses everything I've seen. Has pros: Optically - great! Incredibly sharp and contrasty. Chromatic aberrations are hard to find if you know where to look. Focal length. If I had been told to choose one fix for all occasions, I would have taken 40mm. It can be used to shoot travel and portraits. Thanks to good aperture, if necessary, you can move a little further, crop the frame and get something like 60mm F / 2.0. Thanks to the highest detail of the lens, every pixel of my 30MP sensor is used at 100%. This glass, I'm sure, will be able to resolve a more multi-pixel matrix. Hood with a button, fastened securely. The lens feels very nice in the hand. In terms of design, there is absolutely nothing to complain about. Has cons: Big and heavy. Rather, it is huge and heavy. Previously, I could not imagine that the 40 1.4 would be longer and heavier than the 85 1.4.
