This splint is a lot more supportive than the other wrist braces I have tried. The curve of the splint inside the wrist and palm is a good angle, comfortable and very supportive. The straighter splint on top prevents movement that overstrains. My thumb has complete free range of motion. The velcro really sticks tight.It takes a while to get the hang of putting it on and using it. I'm having to adjust a little to the restrictive motion when typing. However, its MUCH less painful to type! In fact, my wrist stops hurting when I wear it.It uses breathable fabric, but after wearing it 30 minutes or so, my skin tends to perspire underneath it a bit. But not too much, so I'm OK with the tradeoff for less pain.
