Review on πŸ“Ί Sony X90J 65 Inch TV: Ultimate 4K HDR Smart Google TV with Dolby Vision & Alexa | XR65X90J- 2021 Model by Mateusz Roczon ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good product for me, no problems at all.

We bought 65 "for a promotion for 138,000 instead of 169,990. Plus 20,000 bonus points. We are satisfied with the purchase. The screen size no longer seems large - you get used to it quickly. We chose between Sony and LG C1. The latter disappeared due to the lack of DTS support and a USB 3.0 port, the risk of burn-in, which RTINGS and other specialized resources write about, black "filling": when in dark scenes the beautiful black color of the OLED floods elements that should not be completely black. Plus the difference in price.

Pros
  • Excellent picture quality: Watch TV from 2.3 meters away, but 4K content looks amazing even from 1.3 meters away. A side effect: having quickly got used to 4K, it became not so interesting to watch Full HD. Color, brightness, contrast, naturalness - excellent. Nimble operating system and navigation. Quick detection of a 1 Tb hard drive with a lot of photos and videos (you should use the KODI program, it instantly displays the contents of the disk and, like the native player, supports Dolby Vision). Excellent black color: the moments when the screen goes completely blank in a movie / series are impressive. Not OLED, but the black color exceeded expectations. Good for a TV (! ) sound. Because of the screen size, the stereo effect is noticeable and pleasing. But, as originally planned, we will buy separate acoustics.
Cons
  • Small (! ) blackouts in the corners of the screen. Only noticeable in very bright scenes (white or light gray screen). At the same time, TVs differ from instance to instance: in the store, the demo model had corners that were more susceptible to this problem. The second drawback is the small viewing angles. In our case, it is not critical, because we do not watch films, standing at an angle to the TV. To do this, there is a spacious sofa in front of the screen.
