Not suitable for vehicle use. Maybe if you only drive during the day. The LED lights on this thing are way too bright. If only the LED shorted out internally by itself, apart from what you're trying to turn on/off. So it can be connected to the car's dimmer circuit. Another thing I noticed is that when the switch is in the "off" position, the ring that glows around the "power" icon is uneven. This is because the button itself sits crooked in the "button body". Also, the switch looks nice, feels pretty well made. Just doesn't work for my needs.
