Got this to replace my Mr.Coffee French Press as I used it every day when it cracked. Arrived undamaged in the mail, about 2 weeks after the order date. When fully depressed, it does not sink to the bottom of the glass. It only dips about 1 inch from the bottom. However, the coffee comes out fine and the ground coffee does not pass through the filter. The glass feels thin so use with care, but the plastic is durable and has a good grip. The lid seems a bit loose. and when pouring coffee you have to hold it with one hand to keep it from popping out, otherwise it's a decent french press.
