Very useful item! Sliding Gauge doesn't stay, though
I make my own bias tape and these days I've been making a LOT of it. To cut the fabric, this little tool has been a real gem - much better than the regular seam gauges that I've always used. The green sliding part of this tool doesn't click into place, it just slides.and slides.and slides. So I taped it to the measurement I need for my bias tape. I'll have to un-tape it and tape it to another setting to use it for anything else, though. I think this was quite an oversight in design.
- Exactly what I need... Thrilled 😊 I was using these style gauges over 30 years ago ..
- The tool may be difficult to read if the markings are not clear
