I bought this because I live in the country and satellite internet sucks for streaming on my TV (Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.). Now I just plug it into my phone and any TV with an HDMI port and I can easily stream whatever I want to the TV. I sometimes have trouble getting it to work on my TV, but I sincerely believe it's the HDMI ports on the TV and not the cable as I'm using it on another TV with no problems. Very happy with this purchase!
