This item was very reasonably priced even though it had to be imported. We don't seem to be selling this version in the UK. A Brilliance 680 typewriter was purchased for the singer and was quickly delivered. However . Excited to be able to use it, I followed the video instructions. put on the car. Checked to make sure the needle went through the pilot hole. It's not like this. On the left side of the hole was about 5mm. And the needle was central. like that . curious what i can do. I decreased the stitch width using the left to right arrows on the display. I'm new so I think it does. It worked, erased the hole. Pooh. Began to hem a test piece of fabric. went through about an inch. then an almighty explosion. and the point of the needle was pricked up and down, and the remnants of the needle fluttered along the thread. like that . maybe it's me, but I think the singer is great. but the instructions are mostly crap. It's like they don't bother to be specific. They offer so many options for their legs that you can't find which one works for your car. Singer Brilliance's extra legs are limited to a few on the site, but there were plenty. If you're looking for compatibility, this is a minefield of leg options. For example, a foot with free movement. Tires (all metal) for legs. all metal. Big. Try to get one. You only get one with crappy plastic on it. Ebay is flooded with fakes at low prices. love the machine. It's a shame the singers don't seem to love their products that much. Originally rated 1 star, but. After having the opportunity to play better with the setup, I was able to center it perfectly in the hole. On the Singer Brilliance you need to set the needle stitch width to 4.0 to center it. I also limited the stitch length to 1.5 to make sure it stays small in the hole. That's why. it is five
