The stitch hole is not in the correct position for my machine

The stitch hole needs to be larger. My machine needle almost hit the hole. If you don't have a fine needle setting on your machine I wouldn't risk it. My husband drilled the hole a little wider, but this created burrs on the underside of the presser foot which I think could snag on whatever fabric you're trying to sew. I don't know exactly, I didn't want to risk it, so I threw my leg away.

Something is wrong here

I am very disappointed with this foot. I bought a similar foot but from a different brand and couldn't use it on either the Janome or the Singer Featherweight. I even tried it on my brother. But I really liked the design so I ordered this Singer brand which looks like this and found it to be identical just packaged under a different brand. This 1/4 inch straight stitch foot does not match the needles on the machines I tried it on. You'd think the Singer foot would fit the Singer machine. A few…

Presser foot Singer 1/4 inch

This item was very reasonably priced even though it had to be imported. We don't seem to be selling this version in the UK. A Brilliance 680 typewriter was purchased for the singer and was quickly delivered. However . Excited to be able to use it, I followed the video instructions. put on the car. Checked to make sure the needle went through the pilot hole. It's not like this. On the left side of the hole was about 5mm. And the needle was central. like that . curious what i can do.
