The original shock absorbers were worn out and shot on my lightly sprung F-150. I figured those spiral dampers would help reduce load deflection. And so far so good. My F-150 has only one front anti-roll bar. I believe those coil shocks also mimic a rear anti-roll bar. They were a little tricky to install. I have a good spring compressor, but the coil spacing was too tight and the jaws didn't match. In fact, it doesn't even come close. Instead, I used two ratchet straps. I've only had them for about a month, but I really like them! Yes, I would buy them again.
