We install this mount in the camper and it is the perfect solution when there is not enough space for the dashboard friction mount. I followed the alcohol wipe (and dry) instructions before attaching the sticky pad to the base of the mount and then to the RV dashboard. The mount is angled because there's not a lot of flat space on the dash, but we had no trouble and it's easy to adjust for a good view. The adhesive mount worked for four years without any problems. However, the adhesive is very strong and when we got our new motorhome, we couldn't remove the bracket from the old RV without damaging the dashboard trim. So, I was glad to know that this adhesive mount is still around. The product description doesn't specifically list our model, but it works great with our Nuvi 465LMT (which is still working 4 years later). I think it should work with any 4.3 inch Garmin navigator with ball joints. Definitely recommend as a permanent GPS mount solution. Garmin 3 inch ball joint navigators will work.
