Not enough for a long time
I put them behind the TV to make a backlight but the batteries don't last long. After the first day or so they get very boring. They're great for a closet or other space that you don't use often. However, if you intend to use it for more than a few minutes every day, it's not worth changing the batteries every week to use it.
