For many years I had a table lamp that I liked and it suddenly stopped working, so I looked for a new lamp. I really liked this model because it swivels and has dimmers, but not overly much (considering I'll probably keep it on one setting and maybe change it up from time to time). This light is extremely user-friendly. and just the perfect amount of brightness I need. I'm an aspiring artist, so I need light that hits my desk directly...because the only light source in my room casts a shadow where I'm working. This light is bright enough to see every detail without being "too" bright or distracting when I'm just working on my laptop. It's also nice that it can be easily moved and adjusted if I change a project or move things around my desk. And what an incredible price for a table lamp! This is probably the best quality and cheapest lamp you will find.
