Review on Pilot Automotive ANT 029B Universal Replacement by Govindarajan Diepenbrock

This is my second! LOVE IT! Too bad I didn't watch Revane first. I bought my two from the national car chain for almost double the price. I first saw evidence of this antenna on the 4Runner online forum. I replaced the wire antenna on our 2011 4Runner a few years ago and this little antenna had excellent reception - as good as the factory wire antenna. I hate long factory antennas because they touch overhanging branches and bushes near roads and off-road. We liked the old one so much I bought another for the Tundra to replace our 4Runner. The reception is good or even better than the factory antenna. I am very surprised by other negative reviews. Maybe they had other problems besides the antenna.
