These curtain rods provide a simple, sleek look that's perfect if you don't want decorative or conspicuous curtain rods to detract from the look of the curtain. They are a little cheap looking, but they're fairly sturdy. They come with plenty of hardware for mounting, including an extra bracket to place in the middle for supporting a longer rod stretched out fully. My only complaint on the hardware is the sturdiness of the drywall mollies; I irreparably bent/crushed at least half a dozen of them while trying to mount nine of these curtain rods in my office. Good thing I didn't need the middle brackets, leaving plenty of extra hardware.I'm not a fan of the fact that there is white plastic showing at the inner end of the outside pieces of the rod (where the middle pole slides into them). If your curtains have a pocket along the top that hides the pole, this might be hidden, but our curtains are grommeted, and almost always drawn open, so the look of these bits of plastic showing disrupts the clean line of the curtain rod.
