Review on πŸ”§ Milwaukee 12V Cut-Off Tool (2522-20) - Bare Tool by Jon Bishop

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Without a doubt the best tool in its class. Outperforms the Ridgid every day!

This is a great tool in almost every way other than the fact that there is no tilt control and the depth of cut is only 3/4 inch but the reason I put a star is because it's like that wasn't a rafter hook Surprisingly quiet 83-84 decibels, high tech, newly developed brushless motor is the fastest in its class (20,000 rpm), it revs up quickly and has a reverse drive that allows the wheel to rotate in the opposite direction Direction to rotate For safety reasons, there is an automatic brake that stops the rotation of the saw blade An LED indicator on the underside of the tool is bright enough to shine directly on the material being cut Battery life is excellent, especially considering the speed and Performance This tool includes three blades, a flanged 7/8 adapter, a screwdriver, and a dust cover with a guide die compact saw is durable, works great and the lack of bevel control is a no-brainer. As far as I can remember this is a bad tool. I was also considering getting an 18v Ridgid Octane but it's not as comfortable ergonomically, doesn't cut as fast and is only $40 cheaper than the Milwaukee, it's also a lot heavier and somehow the 18- 2Ah V battery doesn't last as long as the 2ah 12v battery that powers my Milwaukee saw. Any handyman or even professional will be very happy with this tool!
