Unit received and connected on 08 September 2016 - works great. I had an old Klipsch speaker system hooked up to my computer consisting of a pair of two-way midrange drivers, a subwoofer, and a control box (power, volume, subwoofer volume, audio in, and headphone out). This system was starting to age, so I bought a Pyle amp to replace the subwoofer (which contained the system's amps) and controller, and reuse the two-way speakers. The directional speakers sounded as expected - strong mids and highs but no bass at all. This is a near-field application, meaning that when you're at the computer, the Pyle amp and Klipsch two-way speakers can be cranked up to excessive levels. At medium to high volume, the speakers sound clear and without distortion.
