Doesn't fit best in body

Bought this expecting it to run smoother boy how wrong was I. The bolts are aligned correctly, however the plastic bar is short and will not close properly. I waited all day for the item to arrive to get new side mirrors again and then the item doesn't fit. The photo shows what I'm talking about, a big gap.
