Arrived in an envelope! Luckily she didn't bend. The only good thing I have to say about these rulers is that the lack of a cork backing brings the lines closer to the paper and shortens the shadow, which is nice. Now for the problems: the lines for 1/64" and 1/10mm are too long to interpret, and 1/32" is still on the edge. Longitudinal lines don't help either, because they confuse the dense tangle of lines even more. Another issue is that the edges were very tapered on arrival, especially at 6 inches, causing them to snag and twitch when I tried to slide them across the paper. I made a thin bevel on the bottom and ends of each ruler and slightly softened the corners, which solved this problem. However, these two rulers are too tiring to use. I bought this set to replace my old Westcott cork backed stainless steel ruler which has been missing for over a month. Looks like I'll buy another one, and maybe just before I find my Westcott.
