When it comes to composing and orchestrating, the new trend (which I really like) is having one of those flat screens between my 88-key keyboard controller and my main monitor, specifically to show the mixer. I don't need a touchscreen, I prefer a very sharp and bright non-touchscreen and that's it. I use a USB-C power cable to the PSU for power and a mini-HDMI cable to my graphics card. The picture quality is excellent. Not exactly for photo editing, but for general viewing it's really sharp. See attached picture showing the installation. I use a tablet stand, it's lighter than an iPad Pro!
